BiographyPARTNER brings together oral historians, writers, and designers to showcase life stories and institutional histories in luxurious illustrated books. Our approach gives private individuals a platform to share personal family history, professional accomplishments, and cherished private memories. We help institutions chronicle origin stories and notable achievements. These privately published books ensure that our clients’ legacies will endure.
How we do it.
We begin by learning what kind of story the client wants to tell. Next, we conduct interviews with the client’s chosen narrators. Then we shape those interviews into a series of stories that together build a narrative. We assemble a rich body of images to illustrate each story. When the narrative is complete, we work with an accomplished book designer and professional printer to produce an edition of polished, museum-quality books for the client to distribute.

· Bill Smith is a 30-year publishing veteran and alumnus of Columbia University’s Oral History Masters Program.
· Jan Geniesse is a creative consultant and former film executive at Imagine Entertainment. She has decades of experience working with story development and screenwriting.
